Suncoast Kids Place
Suncoast Kids Place provides Peer Support Groups to children aged 3-18 and to their families that have experienced the death of a significant loved one. Fully funded and supported by Van Dyke Church, Suncoast Kids Place brings the love of Jesus Christ to children at various locations around the Tampa Bay area. Groups are led within the public schools, community organizations like The Boys and Girls Club, and in residential facilities with incarcerated juvenile offenders. This workshop will be an informal, informative, interactive workshop discussing ways to reach out within your own communities to bring the love of Jesus Christ to those that are grieving. Directing a Preschool Program With a Mission
Directing a Preschool Program is one of the most challenging occupations. To “direct with a mission” requires that the director understand the primary purpose for the existence of the program. Directors must create a program that reflects that purpose and inspire staff to be committed to the mission. The program mission should be visible in the work climate, policies, interactions, staffing, physical environment, and educational goals for the children.
